Action for Business helps budding entrepreneurs in Bradford West set up sustainable companies through use of our Carlisle Business Centre.
Our project aims to maximise the entrepreneurial potential of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities, especially women and young people. The funding will be used to inspire 300 would-be entrepreneurs to start up and grow businesses; provide one-to-one support for 100 clients; set up 12 new businesses; create nine jobs, and increase gross value added by £40,000. This will be achieved by employing a business coach and development of an online resource and enterprise support group, consisting of established entrepreneurs. There will also be BAME skills transfer events.
